Photos by my Students

Every semester I teach photography to several groups of New York City elementary and middle school children.  Many years and hundreds of students into this process, I still never cease to be amazed by the images they produce.

I teach them to see the possibilities and  encourage them to develop a vision.  I don't allow them to use post-production tools like Photoshop! Everything must be done in camera and reflects what they actually see when they release the shutter. The images speak for themselves.  Please take a look!

Workshops Available

Currently, I only run regular weekday classes through schools.  However, if you are looking for a photography program for a 7 - 13 year-old child, I offer two day weekend and holiday workshops.  These are the same Wild Blue classes that won a coveted Nickelodeon Parents Choice Award for "Best Art Class in NYC - 2009".

I also offer teacher workshops for educators who want to set up their own photography classes for kids.

For more information about either of these programs please contact me by email at: KM@kouroshmahboubian.com
